Ben and the guys from Shakermaker opened our private corporate music festival 'Autofest' for us earlier this month, where we had big names such as Sam Bailey and Rudimental on the line up. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We heard about Shaker Maker through a family friend who booked them for their wedding, then after seeing them live in 2017 we had no doubt we wanted them for our wedding. Ben and the lads were absolutely amazing; great tunes, a bouncing atmosphere, and a very happy wedding party - without them the day wouldn't have been the same. A special note to just how amazing their guitarist is - I'd requested that they played Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd in remembrance of my Dad, and it was seamlessly brilliant, and overall an absolutely fantastic cover of a tricky order. Will post the video on the band's page, and will most definitely be going to see the lads again! Class Act!

From start to finish, Ben and shakermaker were top drawer. We were recommended them by a colleague who had shakermaker play at his wedding and after listening to them, we had no hesitation in booking them. Ben was always responsive to emails and texts/phone calls and made it very easy for us. They played songs on request for key parts of the day such as walking down the aisle, signing the register and our first dance.
The acoustic set while we were having our photos was perfect and set a nice vibe in the group and the evening was just amazing.. everyone commented on how amazing they were..very professional, got people dancing and overall top blokes. Worked with these lads recently and was blown away, as a photographer I see many bands but not many manage to combine real talent, a professional attitude and great personalities! I first met Ben in a bar in Burslem, he was playing a solo set. I was so impressed that I asked if he did weddings, mine was a few months away.
During those months Ben and I had regular contact, and he gladly learnt a song that was not on his set list, one of my favourite Paul Weller songs, and I chose a group of songs from Ben's itinerary.
On the day Ben arrived at the venue early enough to set up without disrupting proceedings. He played his set during the drinks reception. Our guests loved the live music and were impressed by the performance. Some asking if Ben could stay all day. I myself, was extremely happy and would not hesitate to book Ben again for another event.

Ben stood in at less than 48 hours notice for our wedding. And what can I say really. He set the tone for the day........ amazing set pitched just right with him and just a guitar he really started our wedding off amazingly. I can’t recommend him enough. I booked Shakermaker to play at our social club and they were absolutely brilliant. They sounded great and the song choices were perfectly suited to the audience they were playing for. They played 2 x 45 minute sets, the first of which flew by. By the second set everyone was up on their feet dancing away having a great time. Ben also helped by using his own music to have on in the background before they started playing which saved me having to sort it. I had many people tell me on the night and the day after how much they’d enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend.

We booked Shakermaker after I saw them perform at a Wedding Fayre. I was blown away 30 seconds into their first song and couldn't wait to tell my fiancé about them.

Shakermaker were brilliant at our wedding they played a great set which everyone at the wedding agreed made the night and then DJ'd afterwards the songs of our choosing. Every member of the band were very talented and the variety of the songs that they played ensured everyone had a great time from the older members of the party to the younger guests. The attention to detail before our big day was great, Ben made sure that we had a setlist full of songs that would get the crowd going whilst also sticking to the type of music that we wanted to be played. Just wanted to let everybody know just how good these guys are. Our wedding was on the 10th June 2017 in Shropshire and we couldn't of asked for a better band. Ben and guys were AMAZING and performed with such energy and enthusiasm. From start to finish they were professional and extremely friendly. I just wanted to thank you and the band again for a fantastic night at my wife’s surprise 40th. The music was fantastic and all guests commented on how great the band were. You had people dancing from the first song to the last (even the people that don’t normally dance couldn’t resist getting up!!) and they were nursing sore feet as well as sore heads the following day! You made the planning easy with great communication, prompt arrival/set-up and you packed away unnoticed. Having such a fantastic live band topped the event off and made the night one to remember for everybody involved – I look forward to catching up with you at some local gigs in the future!

On behalf of myself and my wife Donna we would like to thank Shakermaker for being absolutely perfect at our wedding at Vale Country Club in May! From initial communication to the set on the night everything was better than we could have imagined! When we booked the venue and then the band, the venue failed to inform us that they had a noise limiter, and on finding out about it and reading some reviews of the venue we were very worried the band would not be able to play, but for Shakermaker is was no problem at all! Once set up they played a amazing set and any worries we had were forgotten about! Everyone loved the band and the dance floor was always full, our friends and family are still raving about the band now! The acoustic version of our first dance was just what we wanted! Also the DJ that Shakermaker brought to play before and between sets was brilliant! We would definitely recommend Shakermaker to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

They were fantastic at our wedding. Our guests loved them ! They played a fantastic mix of songs (which got loads of our guests up dancing) and they created a fab atmosphere and rocked all night.
The noise level was perfect, vocals fantastic, bass guitar rocked, drums smashed it and lead guitar solos were epic.
Ben was friendly & responded promptly to any queries in advance. All the band arrived smiling, in plenty of time to setup and soundcheck.

Wow- what a night! The band arrived at the party venue which was a shed in the middle of nowhere to them and they provided a fantastic range of music! I had spoken with Ben and said that guests might take a bit of persuading to dance but we were up at the first and didn't sit till the end- resulting the next day having sore feet! The guys were great and guests were wanting to book them for other occasions! Can't wait to see them again - and even left a lovely note thanking us for a great night!

I booked Shakermaker for our PFA 'Band Night', feeling confident that they could satisfy a variety of ages and music tastes. However, I sold tickets to people who had a phlegmatic response to the idea of a 'band night' so was relying Shakermaker to make it enjoyable everyone, and get what I thought may be a challenging audience, to let their hair down! Communication with Ben was great from the outset and the band arrived early to set up. They were familiar with the venue, set up and soundcheck were smooth. When the band began to play, my fears were allayed within the first 10 minutes as most people were up on their feet....within a couple more songs, I could only see 3 people sitting in the whole room. There was a plethora of variety and this excited everyone. Several people were 'popping in for an hour' but at the end of the evening were still there and chanting for more. At the post 'band night' meeting, all the feedback was great and everyone (if they could remember) had a great time. We are hoping to have another band night this year and I hope that we are able to book Shakermaker again. If we do, I think we will have a much more enthusiastic response. Furthermore, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to hire a cool band. All the best, Terri Dean

We booked Shakermaker for our wedding reception and wow these guys were amazing!! Prior to the wedding, communication with Ben was extremely efficient and one less thing to worry about as we knew that Ben had it all in hand. On the night they played a great mix of songs that had the dance floor rocking from the moment they came on! The guests were all shouting 'more' by the end of the evening and we were even treated to a couple more songs. You can really tell the band love what they do by the energy and passion they showed on the stage, this just added too the whole atmosphere of the night. We are so pleased that we booked them for our wedding and can't thank them enough for their amazing performance!! We are looking forward to seeing Shakermaker again at one of their next gigs so we can relive the wedding!!

We booked Shakermaker after my (now) wife seen them at a wedding fare. I had a listen to their demo cd and was sold on them straight away. Come the wedding night and they were even more amazing in real life. Before they got on stage to perform they went out of their way to help an amateur band we also had playing (my wife's teenage cousin and friends). They even borrowed them some equipment to get them through. They were very accommodating and even though we agreed and paid for 2 x 45 slots, on the night when a few things had overran we asked them to start a little later than agreed and do the full 90 minutes without the break, which they happily agreed to do. Once on stage they had our guests (and ourselves) gripped. Their energy on stage rubs off on to everyone in the room and even though I can't/don't dance I found myself on the dance floor on several occasions. Shakermaker are an extremely professional band who absolutely love what they do. They have a wide variety of songs that span the decades. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone for any function, big or small.
